مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيَانِ (١٩) بَيۡنَہُمَا بَرۡزَخٌ۬ لَّا يَبۡغِيَانِ (٢٠) 

He merged the two seas [that] meet together (19) Between them [both] is an isthmus [i.e., an obstruction] [which] they do not overpass. [Literally: none of them is inequitable[ (20). (55:19-20)

يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡہُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ (٥٥:٢٢)

From these seas come forth pearls and coral (55:22).

Correlating Hadith

[Imam Ali bin Musa] al-Rida said: “[Imam] Ali and [Sayyida] Fatima are two deep seas, and none of them overpass each other." [As for the latter verse, Imam al-Rida says:] "The pearls are [Imam] Hasan, and the coral are [Imam] Hussain."

الرّضا (علیه السلام):مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَیْنِ یَلْتَقِیانِ قال عَلِيٌّ (علیه السلام) و فَاطِمَةَْ (سلام الله علیها). عَلِيَّ (علیه السلام) وَ فَاطِمَةٌْ (سلام الله علیها)بَحْرَانِ عَمِیقَانِ لَا یَبْغِی أَحَدُهُمَا عَلَی صَاحِبِهِ. {فَ}للُّؤْلُؤُ الْحَسَنُ (علیه السلام) وَ الْمَرْجَانُ الْحُسَیْنُ (علیه السلام)
