And We have enjoined on man to do good to his parents. His mother carried him under compulsion, and she brought him forth under compulsion, and his pregnancy [i.e., the time he is in the womb] and his weaning are thirty months. Until when he reaches full age and reaches forty years, he says: "Lord! Dispense [to] me that I may thank [You] for Your favor where with You have favored me and my parents, and that I may do righteousness satisfying You, and make me righteous in my offspring. Surely I repent to You, and surely I am one of the Muslims" (i.e., one who surrenders to Allah) [46:15].

Correlating Hadith

Prophet Muhammad said, from al-Hasan bin Zayd, from his forefathers: “[The Angel] Gabriel descended unto the Prophet and said: ‘O Muhammad! You will be blessed with a boy [Imam Hussain]. Your community will kill him after you.' [The Prophet] said: ‘O Gabriel! There is no need for me regarding him.' [Gabriel] responded: ‘O Muhammad! From him will descend the Imams and the successors [to the Prophet].' And the Prophet came to [Sayyida] Fatima. He said to her: 'You will give birth to a son, [and] my community will kill him after me.' She said: ‘There is no need for me regarding him.' He addressed her for the third time, then said to her: ‘From him would be the Imams and the successors [to the Prophet].' She said: ‘Yes, O father!’ So [Fatima] carried Hussain, and Allah protected her and what was in her womb from Iblis. She gave birth to him after six months. No birth had been heard to be at six months long except Hussain's and Yahya bin Zakariyya's. When Fatima [had given birth to Hussain], the Prophet placed his tongue in [Hussain's] mouth, and he [was nourished by the Prophet] and not by any female until his flesh and blood had grown from the saliva of the Messenger of Allah."
