وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ(1) وَطُورِ سِينِينَ (2) وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ(3) لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ (4)
By the Fig and the Olive (1) and by Mount Sinai (2) and by this Secure [Devoted] Land (3) Indeed, We created humans in the best form (4). (95:1-4)
Correlating Hadith
[Regarding the verse of the Qur’an]: “By the Fig and the Olive (95:1) and by Mount Sinai” (95:2), Imam al-Sadiq said: “The Fig and the Olive are [Imam] Hasan and [Imam] Hussain, and Mount Sinai is [Imam] Ali bin Abi Talib."
[Regarding] the Saying of Allah the Exalted: “and by this Secure [Devoted] Land” (95:3), Imam Musa al-Kazim [also] stated: “That [the Secure Land] is the Messenger of Allah, and we [the Imams] are his way. Allah made the people secure in their ways [i.e. path in life] from the [Hell] Fire if they obey him [Prophet Muhammad].”
الصّادق (علیه السلام)- التِّینِ وَ الزَّیْتُونُ الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَیْنُ (علیها السلام) وَ طُورُ سِینِینَ عَلِیُّي بْنُ‌أَبِي طَالِبٍ (علیه السلام)
الکاظم (علیه السلام)- قَالَ أَبُوالْحَسَنِ مُوسَی (علیه السلام) فِی قَوْلِهِ: وَ هذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِینِ قَالَ ذَلِك رَسُولُ اللَّهِ (صلی الله علیه و آله) وَ نَحْنُ سَبِیلُهُ آمَنَ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَلْقَ فِی سَبِیلِهِمْ مِنَ النَّارِ إِذَا أَطَاعُوهُ
